Ahbram Liendo capped a ninth-inning rally with an RBI single, lifting the Portland Sea Dogs to a 5-4 win over the Harrisburg Senators in an Eastern League game Thursday night at Hadlock Field.
Will Turner led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk, took second on a single by Brooks Brannon and scored the tying run on a wild pickoff throw.
With pinch runner Max Ferguson on third and the infield drawn in, Liendo hit a ground ball through the hole between first and second.
The victory ended a four-game losing streak for the Sea Dogs, who never led until Liendo’s walk-off hit. Tyler Davis was credited with his first Double-A win, allowing one hit over the final two innings in his fourth appearance for the Sea Dogs.
Liendo and Tyler McDonough each homered and drove in two runs. Liendo was 3 for 4 with two runs scored.
