Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on H-2 near Ka Uka off-ramp

A 39-year-old man was seriously injured this afternoon after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed near the northbound lanes of H-2 near the Ka Uka Boulevard off-ramp. The crash was reported at 12:53 p.m. today.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the helmeted motorcyclist struck the roadway and suffered serious trauma. Paramedics provided advanced life support before transporting him to an emergency room for further treatment.

On Saturday, nine people were injured in a two-car crash in the same area of the Ka Uka Boulevard exit.
