As someone far wiser than I once said, “We’re doin’ it live!” Related, “America’s Got Talent” is moving to its live shows next week.
As expected, Las Vegas acts are in the mix.
The mentalist team of James Harrington and Mariana Liani of “Mind2Mind” and the Royal Lasers dance troupe are booked for Tuesday’s Live show on NBC. Telegenic, big-voiced singer Mackenzie Sol is up Aug. 22, and the aerial acrobatic team of Holland & Sienna — Holland Lohse and Sienna Martinez — return Sept. 5.
Vegas aerialist Veronika Goroshkova’s appearance is to be announced.
Royal Lasers, Sol and Goroshkova advanced via Golden Buzzer. The Vegas artists boast the type of range that “AGT,” in its 21st season, seeks when crowning a champion:
— Harrington and Liani opened at Fontainebleau’s Azul Lounge on June 4. Harrington is from Milton Keynes, England; Liani is from Ukraine. The couple is primarily based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where they established their partnership before performing around the world.
The husband-wife team appeared on “AGT” in 2022, but were not selected to move past the Deliberations round and into the semis. The duo also appeared on “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2019. They fell short of the semis there, too, but came away with a prize — each other — when Harrington proposed after their audition (not during the telecast, but in private during their time on the show).
— Royal Lasers also features a married tandem, dancers Joshua Blum and Cindy Reid Bluhm, along with choreographer Nick Fearon. The trio were backing dancers in “America’s Got Talent Live!” at Luxor, rambling across the stage and up the aisles in LED-trimmed suits. The team drew a Golden Buzzer pass from host Terry Crews into the Live shows.
— Sol was awarded his Golden Buzzer by Simon Cowell. Sol, who turns 26 on Sept. 5, is a charismatic and resonant singer who previously headlined at The Shag Room at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Easy’s Cocktail Lounge at Aria.
— Holland & Sienna have appeared in two of Cirque’s most famous Vegas productions, “Love” at the Mirage and “Michael Jackson One” at Mandalay Bay.
— Goroshkova is a cast member in “Mad Apple” at New York-New York. Her aerial pole number drew a Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
Goroshkova, an artist and acrobat from Ukraine, told the judges she wants to compete in the Olympics. Howie Mandel asked, “Do you think what you show us tonight can win a million dollars?” The performer didn’t pause, “Yes.”

The 40th annual Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) Black & White Party returns to Kaos at the Palms at 8 p.m. Sept. 19.
Fashion, entertainment and community commiseration is the order of the night.
Fredric Alexander (Freddy Godinez and Alexander Stabler) are this year’s hosts. Entertainment furnished by Morgan McMichaels of “Ru Paul’s Drag Race,” DJ Lexto, Nicky Saturn, and the casts of “Fantasy” at Luxor, Piranha and Gipsy nightclubs, The Phoenix, “Vegas! The Show” at Saxe Theater, and Jennifer Romas’s “Sexxy” at Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce.
