Oak and yolk breakfast and grilling restaurant coming to Chinatown Vegas

The sign wasn’t there Wednesday morning; Thursday morning, it was.

Oak & Yolk, which bills itself as “Breakfast by Day, Grill at Night,” has announced its presence with a “coming soon” sign strung above the door at 4258 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 107, in Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown.

The Plaza, one of the largest concentrations of Asian food in Las Vegas, also notably contains the original ShangHai Taste, purveyor of slurpy xiao long bao; an outpost of China Mama, the longtime local Chinese restaurant; and Weera Thai Kitchen, the family-owned group with locations across Vegas.

Oak & Yolk occupies the space, next door to Kura sushi, that once housed Pepper Lunch, the teppanyaki chain that closed in mid-2026 (ahead of a planned outpost at the BLVD complex on the Strip).

Clark County business license records do not yet list Oak & Yolk, but county building records show a permit has been issued for the installation of a new natural gas line for the restaurant.
