A co-star of “Pawn Stars” is recovering after bypass surgery.
Rick Harrison is “resting comfortably” after he was to undergo a routine stent procedure, but doctors instead found he needed emergency bypass surgery.
A Harrison family rep sent the following comment to neon: “He went in for a simpler procedure, and they found he needed a bypass. He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery. He is grateful for the doctors and staff at the hospital and that his wife and family can be with him during this time.”
TMZ was first to report the story. Harrison’s family, including his wife, Angie, were reportedly with him during the procedure.
“Pawn Stars” has resumed filming for History channel, with Harrison and Austin “Chumlee” Russell back as the primary co-stars. Rick Harrison’s son Corey Harrison has left the show for ventures in Mexico, including his “Corey Harrison Show” podcast.
The new “Pawn Stars” series is to premiere in early ‘27.
