Honolulu police are investigating the attempted murder of two individuals at Electric Beach in Nanakuli on Saturday night.
District 8 Patrol officers responded at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday at Electric Beach. A 64-year-old male suspect allegedly approached a large gathering with a knife. The suspect and group argued, and a struggle ensued, leading to the injuries of a 54-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, police said.
Upon arrival, officers arrested a suspect for second-degree attempted murder. His identity as not immediately released.
The 54-year-old man was transported to an area hospital for treatment, while the 49-year-old woman was treated at the scene.
Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
